ADSA Fall Golf Tournament 2021

ADSA Fall Golf Tournament 2021

Please turn on CC (Closed Captioning). VIDEO DESCRIPTION: Plain blue background with ADSA logo and ADGC 2021 Fall Golf Tournament text appears for a short time before transitioning to Erin. She is sitting in front of a plain beige background with the ADSA logo projected in the top left corner. She has a blue ADSA golf shirt on and is wearing a bun. TRANSCRIPT: Hello everyone! I have some exciting news I want to share with you all. ADSA will host a fall golf tournament. When is it? September 11th. It is on a Saturday. Where? At Sundre, close to Olds, in Alberta. It is in between Edmonton and Calgary, so participants can come meet halfway. I am very excited because fall is my favourite time to play golf. Beautiful trees, the colours are changing, the air is more crisp and more cool. Such a good feeling. Anyways, I want you to come join and play golf with us. Just for fun, recreational golfing, not competitive or serious. Unless you want to play seriously, then you can challenge yourself! But all skills are welcome. More information on this event: this is on Saturday, September 11th. Registration is due on August 27th. Is this deadline firm? No, but I strongly encourage you to register as soon as possible. Then we can arrange everything smoothly. So, the tournament has three prizes. Hold on, there are actually many more prizes. I meant there are three challenges and three categories. Altogether the value of prizes comes to $500.00. Really awesome to be able to give away a lot. The three categories are female, male, and senior citizens. The senior citizen category may be split into female and male. It is possible, depending on how many players register. We will figure out after we get the final number. I am very excited to tell you about the challenges. They are: longest drive, which means you drive the ball and there will be a marker with your name staked in the ground. You can say I have the longest of all. But wait, as the other groups catch up to yours the other players may hit a longer distance and beat yours. Once that happens, new marker will be staked with new name. All of this will be explained more in depth, along with more about the rules, info, challenges and how to play, at the tournament. The first challenge is the long drive, the other one is for the longest putt. When you putt from a distance, and it actually gets into the hole. There will be a marker staked at where you hit the ball. The third challenge is the closest to pin. This means you hit the ball and it arrives near the hole. The closest distance between the ball and hole is the winner and will be staked with a sign. There will be lots of prizes. I hope you will come play and have fun. Socialize with others and meet some new people. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, it doesn’t matter. Everyone is welcome! I am really looking forward to it! Anyways, the cost is $50.00 per player. It includes three cool things the green fee which means you will play 18 holes, a power cart, and range balls to warm up with. I encourage you to come because the price is a really good deal! Payment can be made by e-transfer to ADSA’s treasurer. The email address is adsatreasurersk@gmail.com See in description for the address as well. Please pay the $50.00 fee plus send your registration form using JotForm online. It is really cool and convenient, just fill out online and click submit. That’s it and you’re registered! So, I really hope I will see you there. I’m really looking forward to it. I have really missed playing in golf tournaments. Last year we didn’t have one. I’m thrilled to be hosting for this year! See you there!
