About this Organization
Our Mission to Embrace our Abilities.
Welcome to the Alberta Deaf Sports Association (ADSA), where we proudly support a vibrant community of Deaf and Hard Hearing athletes, coaches, volunteers, and supporters. We celebrate inclusivity, welcoming new and signers who communicate using American Sign Language. As a non-profit organization, our mission is to raise awareness and empower athletes with hearing loss of 55 decibels or higher in both ears across all levels of sports. ADSA offers a variety of resources, including sponsorship opportunities for national and international events, clinics, training sessions and certification programs for coaches and referees. Our athletes have the chance to compete at national events, and if qualified, receive support for prestigious international competitions such as the World Championships, PanAm Games for the, and the Deaflympics. Join us in fostering a strong and supportive sporting community!
