About this Organization
Embracing our Abilities
We are a proud community of Deaf and Hard of Hearing athletes, coaches, volunteers, and associates. We also have hearing members who use American Sign Language to communicate. New members, new signers and everyone are always welcome into our community!
The Alberta Deaf Sports Association is a non-profit organization with programs that will bring awareness to Albertans and support athletes with hearing loss of 55 decibels or higher in both ears at all levels of sports. These athletes have the opportunity be sent as individuals and as teams to national events, and if qualified, they are supported for international events such as World Championships, PanAm Games for the Deaf, and the Deaflympics.
